Thur May 21st : Arrival day. Transfer from Toulouse airport to Haut Baran. This transfer is provided and is based on everyone meeting at the same place (Toulouse airport in front of customs ) at the same time ( noon ) on arrival day ( May 21st ). After the transfer relax and enjoy a welcoming dinner at Haut Baran at 7 : 30 pm featuring the area wine ! Fri May 22nd : Breakfast 9 am. Workshop painting at Haut Baran instruction by Tom Jones . Lunch is served at Haut Baran . Dinner will be arranged for you at a local restaurant ( own expense ). Sat May 23rd : Breakfast 8:30 am. Transfer in the morning to your painting site ( the 14th century bastide of Monpazier ) about 30 min. Monpazier is a beautifully preserved bastide built by the English as a strategic hedge against the French during the 100 years war. Lunch is in Monpazier(own expense) Dinner is at Haut Baran. Sun May 24th : Breakfast 8:30 am. Morning workshop at Haut Baran instruction by Tom Jones.Lunch is served at Haut Baran. Afternoon transfer to Puy l'Eveque for on - site painting ( 5 min ). Dinner will be arranged at a local restaurant ( own expense). Mon May 25th : Breakfast 8:30 am. Morning transfer to painting site ( St Cirq LaPopie voted most beautiful village in France ! ) about 60 min. Lunch in St Cirq ( own expense ). Afternoon vist of Pech Merle with its 25,000 year old prehistoric art. Dinner is at Haut Baran. Tues May 26th : Breakfast 8:30am. Morning transfer to painting site ( Domaine du Theron winery ) About 15 min. Lunch is at the winery ( included) . Afternoon painting and wine tour + tasting after lunch. Dinner will be arranged at "La Récreation" restaurant ,featured in Michael Sanders book "From here you can't see Paris". (own expense) Wed May 27th : Breakfast 8:30am. Morning transfer to painting/tour site ( Sarlat ) about 60 mins. Sarlat's old quarter has buildings that represent architecture spanning 10 centuries ! Lunch is in Sarlat ( own expense ) . Dinner this evening is at Haut Baran. Thur May 28th : Breakfast 8:30am. Morning workshop at Haut Baran instruction by Tom Jones. Lunch is served at Haut Baran. Morning transfer to painting site (Castelfranc) about 15 min. Castelfranc is a 14th century bastide built on the convergence of the Vert river and Lot river with beautiful bridges and water mills !
